Pics or it Didn't Happen Summer Challange

Updated: Dec 17, 2022

☀ Summer

Hello Everyone!

At least in my school, summer starts in a week! Most people are used to making bucket lists which is fine but, I have a better idea. *cue the lightbulb over my head* Today I want to show you how to do the Pics or it Didn't Happen Summer Challenge.

Rules

A quick thing to point out is how ME and MY FRIENDS are doing this. There are many variations of the challenge but this is made for teens so most things are accessible to people of that age group.

The rules are pretty simple but here's a breakdown of each rule:

  1. There must be pictures for proof (hence the name)

  2. At the end of the summer whoever has the most points wins.

  3. The winner gets $30 to spend

In the case that 2 people have the same amount of points, the money will be split.

Online or Scrapbook

The way you can do this challenge depends on you and your friends. For my friend group, we are doing an online version and scrapbook so the person can choose how to document it. I recommend looking for online templates at Slidesgo.com. or even Genially.com if your friends what to spice it up a bit.

Point system

The point system is divided into 3 categories 25,50, and 100 points. Depending on how big or small the task will be in its respective category. For example, something basic like making popsicles can be 25 points, something like the movies can be 50 points and a day-long event or activity will be 100 points.

Activities

For activities, me and my friends kept it simple but we customized it to how we are. For example, no one in the group can stand spicy food soo eating something spicy is worth 25 points.

Activities for 25 points:

  • Bake cookies

  • Make Popsicles

  • Painting Rocks

  • Writing a love letter to a fictional character (clearly, my friends made this for me)

  • Eat something spicy

  • Make a Fort

  • Respond to someone with UR MOM

  • Read a book by the pool or beach

Activities for 50 points:

  • Dance to your favorite song and record it as evidence

  • Throw someone in the pool

  • Outdoor Picnic

  • Go to the movies

  • Make a complicated origami

  • Write kick me on someone's back

  • Write a song

  • Buy a pair of funky glasses and wear them for the rest of the day

  • Go out wearing mismatched shoes and socks

  • Go to a friend's house

  • Go to a party

  • Go hiking

  • Summer Lookbook

  • Photoshoot

  • "Stalk" someone on TikTok or Insta (10 extra points if you find their OLD accounts)

By stalk I mean find someone's Insta,TikTok,YT and more for no reason.

Activities for 100 Points:

  • Father-Daughter Date

  • Spa day with UR MOM

  • Visit a monument

  • Movie marathon

  • Take yourself on a date (make dinner, eat with yourself and watch a movie) or something like that it could even be a spa date

  • Give someone you don't know from another country money in your country's correct. Ex: Give someone from Japan a dollar

  • Blast “Never Gonna Give You Up” or “Don’t Stop Believing” on speakers in public

  • Light fireworks

  • 4- course meal challenge

  • Go biking

Those are all the ideas me and my friends came up with. You can add, remove or even make your own lists. To come up with ideas I recommend looking up on Pinterest and yt summer bucket lists.

I hope you enjoyed reading and making your own lists for this summer.

Bye!
